Brazil has two main gateways from the UK – Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paolo. Sao Paolo is served daily direct from the UK by British Airways and TAM. BA flies to Rio up to four times weekly non-stop, and TAM is daily.

Alternatively you can fly with TAP Air Portugal , which has the most extensive range of services to Brazil from Europe . Flights operate from London via Lisbon to Rio and Sao Paolo as well as direct to Belo Horizonte , Brasilia , Fortaleza , Salvador and Recife .
There are also flight options with Air France, KLM and Lufthansa into Rio and Sao Paolo with connections from around the UK.

Flight times from the UK are around 11 hours and 30 minutes to Sao Paolo on non-stop flights and around 14 hours to most other destinations with one connection.
