'Outstanding deals' available in Spanish property investment

Property prices in the Balearics and Canary Islands have fared better than those in Spain, an information site has told people looking for overseas property for sale. Adrian Warriner, managing director at Spanish-Living.com, said the logical choice is to go where the biggest price drops have occurred and where rental potential is the strongest. In the Balearics and Canary Islands, prices have gone down 2.5 per cent overall - good news for those who already own a property there but less so for those seeking a bargain property investment. Outstanding deals can be found in coastal areas and in places such as Nueva Andalucia, San Pedro and Guadalmina the buyer is spoilt for choice, Mr Warriner added. "These and other similar locations provide easy access to upmarket hotspots Marbella and Puerto Banus, as well as a multitude of beaches, golf courses and other sunshine activities and most importantly for investors, strong all-year-round rental potential," he went on to say.
