South Africa has two main gateways from the UK – Cape Town and Johannesburg – both served from London Heathrow on daily flights with BA, Virgin Atlantic and South African Airways. There are connecting services to other destinations such as Durban , Port Elizabeth , George and East London with carriers such as South African Airways, BA, Kulula, 1time and Mango. Alternatively there are connecting flights to Cape Town and Johannesburg from around the UK with Air France , KLM, Lufthansa and Emirates (who also offer a Durban flight via Dubai ) Flights times are around 11 hours and 30 minutes on non-stop flights.
