Bulgaria to receive its largest ever residential gated community

The largest ever gated residential community in Bulgaria will be constructed by Electra Bulgaria at a cost of around €300m.
The project will be located near the Kalimantsi village, 15km northwest of Varna Black Sea city. The scheme will have a total built-up area of close to 400,000sqm on a land plot of 50 and will encompass around 5,000 residential units, a shopping centre, a school, restaurants, an amusement park, as well as a church.
Construction work is expected to get underway in the spring of 2009 and will take between five and seven years to complete.
No actual property prices have yet been set, however, they are expected to be inline with properties for sale in Varna's suburbs.
