Lloyds launch saver account for overseas property owners

Lloyds TSB International has launched an International Bonus Saver Account for international savers and property buyers that require instant access to their money, without sacrificing interest

Rewarding savers

The new International Bonus Saver Account can be opened in sterling or euros with a £5000/ €5000 minimum balance and is available to savers with up to £1m or €1m to invest. This offer is not available for money already deposited with Lloyds TSB International.

For Sterling accounts, an introductory bonus of 0.5% is available on balances of £5,000 plus and applies for the first six months. Savers will benefit from a rate of 2.5% gross, 2.52% per cent AER.

Savers with euro accounts will benefit from a 1% introductory bonus for the first six months on balances of €5,000 or above. This gives a rate of 2% gross and 1.51% AER.

Flexible access

The International Bonus Saver Account is ideal for savers who need instant access to their funds. Access is available 24/7 via Lloyds TSB Internet Banking and Offshore PhoneBank.

Interest is paid monthly, allowing customers to benefit from attractive rates even if they need to access their cash before the end of the introductory bonus period.
