Ronopoly Ronaldo to become a property mogul

World football player of the year, Cristiano Ronaldo, is ploughing his fortune into building his very own property portfolio, which has earned him the nickname ‘Ronopoly’.
The Manchester United winger hopes to follow in the footsteps of fellow football star, Robbie Fowler, who was at one stage the wealthiest sportsman in Britain, thanks to his passion of investing in property.
Ronaldo, who already owns four homes in Portugal, currently plans to invest £8m into a top-class hotel on the Portuguese island of Porto Santo, located near his native Madeira. He also owns a £4m mansion in Cheshire, England.
Ronaldo also reportedly plans to construct an additional £6.1m property in Portugal.
With property prices falling across the globe, now appears to be a great time for Ronaldo, aged 24, to buy property, especially if he has a long-term investment plan in mind.
