St Lucia’s property market may benefit from more BA flights

British Airways has announced that it will increase the number of flights it operates from Gatwick to St Lucia from two to three per week. Furthermore, flights will now operate non-stop, rather than fly via Antigua, which will save two hours flying time from next winter.
Lars Christiaanse of Chesterton International told Homes Overseas: “An increasing number of flights and a shorter flight time will definitely boost the number of tourists choosing the island as a holiday destination. This may lead to better infrastructural improvements, which in turn may boost prices of property for sale in St Lucia.”
