Trump Tower put on hold

Trump Tower, a £535m scheme planned for one of Dubai's palm-shaped islands, has been suspended, according to one of the companies involved in the project, Australia's Leighton Holdings.
The high-profile cancellation comes just one day after Dubai's government-owned developer, Nakheel, announced it was slashing 500 jobs or 15% of its workforce as it scales back projects as the emirate’s property market starts to nosedive.
The project, located on Palm Jumeirah, is a high-end, mixed-use development containing hotel and residential facilities.
