Tuscany offers good property investment prospects

Southern Tuscany in Italy could become a hot destination for investors seeking to buy property in Italy, according to Bill Thompson of international estate agency Knight Frank.
Thompson told Country Life: “It is an emerging area, especially if the airport opens up in Siena.”
The airport has been undergoing extensive redevelopment over the past few years, with plans to expand the runway, which could in turn cater for more daily flights.
He also highlights Maremma, Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala as good areas in which to invest in property.
