UAE developer Dubai Properties has won the prestigious International Award at The Variety Club Children’s Charity 2008 Property Awards.

Lama Kabbani (pictured), Dubai Properties’ senior manager – contact communications, collected the award on behalf of the company at the popular luncheon event held at London’s Hilton Hotel.

The Awards, which seek to recognise the achievement of projects and individuals who have excelled in the property industry, raise vital cash to help improve the quality of lives for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in the UK. This year's event raised over £600,000 for the charity.

Dubai Properties was chosen for its commitment to high standards of architectural design, build quality and innovation in the property hub of Dubai.

Jade El Khalil chief officer sales and marketing Dubai Properties commented: “Dubai Properties is proud that our projects have been recognised by our UK peers as outstanding examples of developments for the future. We will continue to develop new and innovative projects that are aligned with our leaders' vision of making the UAE a destination of choice for businessmen and tourists from around the world.”
