Property owners in Carboneras, Almería, will be delighted to learn that the municipal beach of Los Muertos has been declared the number one beach in Spain at the annual International Tourism Exhibition in Madrid (FITUR).
The resort includes a nudist beach on Los Muertos, which is only accessible by boat or a one-kilometre trek through the Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve in Carboneras.
The news is sure to boost tourism in the area, and as a consequence, buy to let investors should be able to look forward to a bustling tourist rental season this summer.
