Northern Cyprus Property
There is a large variety of Northern Cyprus property available. Prices of property in Northern Cyprus are low and this, combined with a lack of development, is attacting investors as there is huge potential for growth.
Traditionally, Kyrenia property has been popular along with property in the nearby coastal villages. However, buyers are now looking elsewhere. A lot of property in Northern Cyprus is in poor condition and ideal for restoration.
Ongoing uncertainty remains over relations between the North and the South. Most Northern Cyprus properties belonged to Greek Cypriots before 1974 and no-one knows what might happen should the island re-unify. Therefore, buyers are advised to buy either a property in Northern Cyprus owned by Turkish Cypriots prior to 1974 or a Nothern Cyprus property that was given in compensation to refugees.
