Ideally located on a pass at 1860 m, close to the Italian border, Montgenèvre is a charming village-resort in the Southern Alps. It held the first International skiing competition in February 1907 and is still a first class ski resort 100 years on; it has since been linked to larger skiing areas such as Sestrières, Sauze d’Oulx and San Sicario, venues for the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics. This huge skiing area, totalling 400 km of Franco- Italian slopes, offers a fantastic variety of breathtaking landscapesand old authentic villages.

The southern Alps region combines the best features of the Alps and the south of France. Thanks to its geographical location, it benefits from maximum snow coverage and the wonderful Mediterranean climate : 300 days of sun a year !! Plenty of sunshine to enjoy on downhill runs... or in the summer, on the golf course, trekking to the summits or cycling the Tour de France famous spots like the Col du Galibier.

Montgenèvre is even more attractive now than it was 5 years ago: a lot of old lifts have been replaced and new snow cannons installed on the Italian side to meet the requirements of the Olympics Games, so the skiing area has dramatically improved.

'Les Chalets des Dolines' is located en piste, 5 minute walk from the old centre. It will be a superb leaseback residence consisting of 3 chalets built in a traditional alpine style with timber and stone facades. It will feature a beautiful reception area, a swimming pool, saunas, steam rooms and a gym as well as a beauty centre.
