Neochori is a small village slightly inland from the small family  resort of Stoupa, with its long sandy bay and a range of shops and tavernas.The 3kms to the coast is about a five minute drive.     Neochori also has a pleasant spa, only a five minute walk from the house and which offers two swimming pools, a bar and a restaurant. A new coastal footpath has recently been completed to Agios Nikolaos, a small fishing village where tavernas offer a wide range of  traditional fish specialities.

The regional capital of Kalamata is about an hours drive from Neochoris.  Kalamata has a modern new marina with waterside tavernas and resturants as well as the picturesque old town. It also has an international airport which has charter flights from many European countries during the summer season.  In winter, flights from England and some other European countries can be made to Thessaloniki, from where there is a direct service to Kalamata.
