Overseas investors have been snapping up Turkey property for a number of years now and with its winning combination of great resorts, superb climate and reasonably priced homes, the trend seems likely to continue. There are developments to suit most budgets, with high build quality and modern facilities.
To the west, Kusadasi and Fethiye are among the best-known resorts, though there are many smaller beach towns in the Aegean Region. The Mediterranean Region also has excellent beach and harbour towns, with Antalya and Side among the most popular locations for those lookin for property in Turkey on the southern seaboard. Some of the best luxury Turkey properties can be found in the upmarket marina resorts such as Bodrum and Marmaris.
Owning Turkish property in the coastal resorts can typically mean enjoying a season of around six months from May to October, though areas such as Belek near Antalya city can boast more than 300 days of sunshine annually. It has become one of Turkey’s best golfing destinations as a result of its year-round appeal.
Turkey property for sale on the coast is by far the most popular but some investors are buying rural Turkey properties. Inland, prices of property in Turkey are often markedly cheaper than on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts. For those with a taste for adventure, buy Turkey property in the ski resorts for something out of the ordinary.
